Celebrating Vestd's achievements (with an eye to the future)

What does it take to stand out in the fintech and equity management world? It’s a question we often ask ourselves. We know that innovative technology is a must. Ditto a strong company culture.

As we progress on our own journey of discovery, we’re constantly learning, challenging ourselves and asking how we can do better. 

In recent years, Vestd has received a number of accolades and awards nominations. Each of these also teaches us something - while motivating us to continue developing the Vestd platform in innovative new ways. 

A mid-year recap 

We recently collected the ‘Best Use of Technology in an Employee Share Scheme’ award at the ESOP Centre Awards 2024.

This award recognised the progress we’ve made in simplifying and enhancing employee share schemes by putting cutting-edge technology to work to streamline complex processes and make equity management more accessible and efficient.

We have additionally been nominated in two categories at The Hustle Awards 2024: Most Innovative Tech and Social Impact Heroes. 

The Most Innovative Tech category recognises companies that push the boundaries of what technology can achieve. The Social Impact Heroes category honours those making significant contributions to society. 

Building on years passed

Recognition in 2024 follows on from other awards and award nominations - humbling to receive, these nods also tell us that we’re on the right track with our platform development and fuel us to continue striving to do more to serve our clients.

Breathe HR Culture Winners 2021

Vestd was a Top 3 winner in the Culture Winners category. Judges chose the winners for their values, their approach, vision and impact, as well as practical measures to support employees. Vestd beat some stiff competition in all areas to make it to the third place overall.

BusinessCloud’s FinTech50 2021

Vestd was ranked among the top 50 fintech companies for impact in the financial technology sector, taking home a respectable 12th place. Businesses listed were celebrated for creating innovative tech for banking, payments and finance

Europas 2021

Also in 2021, Vestd was a finalist for ‘Hottest B2B / SaaS Startup 2021’ at The Europas, which has been celebrating Europe’s most ambitious and successful tech startups since 2009.

TechRound’s Top 30 ‘Tech for Good 2021’

Our positive impact through technology earned the company recognition for its “fairer, more principled way of doing business”. 

TechRound Top 25 ‘Legal Technology Companies 2021’

Yet more recognition from 2021. We were honoured to be recognised for our excellence in legal tech solutions. The judging panel noted Vestd was, “the UK’s first, most advanced and only regulated digital share scheme platform for SMEs”.

The Hustle Awards 2023

Vestd was a finalist in the Most Innovative Tech category - which is self-explanatory, really! The high placement reflects our ongoing commitment to technological advancement.

Fintech Awards London 2023

Same year, different final! Vestd was a finalist for the prestigious Fintech of the Year award. Phil Vidler, the CEO of FinTech Alliance, praised the quality of every fintech company shortlisted, as well as their commitment to customers during the pandemic.

TechRound Fintech50 2023

We also gained a spot among the winners, with judges heralding Vestd as the “most powerful equity management platform”, designed to make sharing ownership “a piece of cake”.

And this list may be about to grow even longer!

Technology and social impact

We’re humbled to say that not all of our awards, recognitions and accolades we’ve received in the last few years are purely about technology.

We’re especially proud to be recognised for the positive corporate culture we’re building and the social impact we’ve made.

The recognition of our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and forward-thinking workplace is gratefully received - but of course, Vestd is not in it for the awards!

Vestd technology is designed to democratise equity, making it easier for companies to manage shares - and for employees, who may otherwise find the entire concept rather confusing- to understand and benefit from them.

This has not only revolutionised how businesses handle equity but also allowed employees to gain a tangible stake in the companies they help to build.

By prioritising user-friendly and transparent solutions, we’ve set out to bridge the gap between complex financial processes and everyday accessibility.

Looking ahead

As Vestd continues to innovate, our core mission remains the same. 

With the upcoming results of The Hustle Awards 2024, there is much anticipation and excitement around what lies ahead for Vestd!
