Titanbay bags title of the UK’s Most Generous Company

Titanbay bags title of the UK’s Most Generous Company

Earlier this year, we commenced the hunt to find the UK’s Most Generous Company 2025...

The competition was launched by Vestd as a way to celebrate National Share Scheme Day and we cast the net far and wide to find the country’s best and brightest.

As for what we were looking for, our competition was free to enter and open to businesses of all sizes. We wanted to find a company with heart - one that goes the extra mile for its employees.

The competition’s judges were Ifty Nasir, Founder and CEO of Vestd and Simon Squibb, Founder of HelpBnk.

On his judging duties, Simon told us that:

"A huge part of my mission in our company HelpBnk is trying to encourage others to lead purposeful businesses and that can only be done through fair and ethical considerations. Fair and ethical business practices are at the core of everything I do in my team and I am always striving to do better. Looking forward to learning from others about what they do to see how I can improve, and hope the winners learn from my book."

The winning entry

After lengthy deliberation, the judges chose London-based Titanbay to lift the trophy. Private markets platform Titanbay prides itself on having a people-centred approach to company culture.

Ifty stated that,

“I’m thrilled to hand over the inaugural UK’s Most Generous Company prize to Titanbay!”

“They faced down fierce competition to secure the title and can be rightfully proud to be the ones lifting the trophy. For me, a company is stronger when everybody pulls together and everybody shares in the success. Titanbay’s benefit package is testament to that school of thought and it’s obvious that they are leading an excellent company culture”.

“There’s a level of consideration to all of Titanbay’s benefits that adds up to a significantly people-focused environment. From shares (which obviously, we at Vestd love!) to generous annual leave, life insurance, WFH tech contributions and support for new parents. On all fronts, Titanbay is demonstrating that it really genuinely cares about its people”.

Simon Squibb added that, “Out of all of the entries, Titanbay just blew us away completely. It’s really clear that the company is incredibly invested in their overall employee experience and that generosity is at the heart of everything they do”.

"They told us that their benefit package had become a ‘key differentiator’ helping them to attract and hang onto talent, and we could really see that in the breadth of what they offer their team members. Not only do Titanbay team members enjoy full health and dental cover, but they also have access to employee counselling and wellbeing initiatives AND share options for everybody! And on top of that, none of this is gatekept for long-term employees, it’s there for the taking from day one”.

"Anybody that knows me knows that I’m huge on the power of sharing, and this level of respect for the team has accelerated Titanbay’s place in their industry and I’m certain it will secure them success for years to come. Huge congrats to everybody at Titanbay!”

On receiving the award, Andrada Ciobanu, Titanbay’s Associate Director of People & Talent said that, “Ownership is one of our core operating principles, and something we live by every day. We take great pride in the fact that each of us is an owner, sharing both the responsibility and the success of what we’re building together — and we’re absolutely thrilled to see that recognised with the award from Vestd”.

Not only does TItanbay enjoy the title of the UK’s Most Generous Employer, but they also enjoy a prize package including a trophy, a standard 12 month basic subscription to share scheme platform Vestd, and copies of Simon Squibb’s brand new number one best-selling book, ‘What’s your Dream’, published by Century Books.

Ifty Nasir added “Congratulations to all at Titanbay, and to all of our runners up too. Well done to our joint second place winners, Flexa Careers and Stewardship Wealth, to our third place winners Boughey Distribution and fourth place winners Higson. You can all be rightfully proud of leading the way and setting an excellent example to other British companies!”

Molly Johnson-Jones, founder and CEO of Flexa said that, “it's wonderful to be recognised as the second most generous employer in the UK. When we started Flexa, we knew that high performance and enjoyable working environments could go hand in hand. We designed how we work around that concept - working at a startup can be intense, and our 4.5 day week, company shut-downs, and generous holiday allowance mean people can rest without guilt. Offering a lot to employees doesn't need to come at a super high cost, and when done thoughtfully, you'll have happy, engaged, and productive employees who stay at the company for a long time. Businesses cannot be successful without great people, so invest in them!"

Simon Glazier, Director and Chief Steward from Stewardship Wealth added that, “We have always hoped that Stewardship Wealth would be known for its generosity, as this sits as one of our three core values, but it is an absolute honour to be listed amongst the UK's Most Generous Companies. We hope that this will inspire us, and others, to even greater levels of generosity, to build a culture of giving back when we have been given so much, and a recognition that generosity can be a powerful force for good within the business community.”

Nasir stated that, “the awards have been a huge success and have enabled us to get our message out that sharing the love = better, more productive teams. Whether it’s a share scheme, health insurance or flexible working practices, it’s clear that employers have to step up if they want to attract the right talent - and if they want to keep it - because so many companies out there are doing so much for their teams.”

“We’ve been so happy to see that so many businesses out there are doing the best by their teams and we look forward to running the competition again in 2026!”
