Connect Vestd to ChatGPT or Claude

Connect Vestd to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to quickly query and summarise your equity data.

The connection is strictly read-only. Your AI assistant can retrieve information to help answer your questions, but it can't create, update, delete, or file anything on Vestd.

What you’ll need

  • Access to a company account on Vestd
  • A ChatGPT or Claude account that supports custom MCP connections
  • The Vestd MCP connection URL: https://app.vestd.com/mcp

Note: The connection uses secure OAuth authentication, so you won't need to generate or manage API keys. Your AI tool will automatically discover the available Vestd features.

How to connect

Connecting to ChatGPT

Head to the plugin listing, or

  1. Open Settings in ChatGPT.
  2. Select Plugins.
  3. Choose the option to browse plugins.
  4. Search for Vestd and click Install plugin.
  5. Follow the sign-in prompts to authorise your Vestd account.
  6. Enable Vestd in your chat whenever you want ChatGPT to query your Vestd data.

Workspace note: If you use a company-managed ChatGPT account, an administrator may need to install the plugin for you.

Connecting to Claude

  1. Open Settings in Claude.
  2. Select Connectors.
  3. Click Add custom connector.
  4. Enter the Vestd MCP connection URL.
  5. Follow the sign-in prompts to authorise your Vestd account.
  6. Enable the Vestd connector in your chat whenever you want Claude to query your Vestd data.

Example prompts to try

Once connected, you can ask questions about the companies you manage on Vestd, such as:

  • "Summarise the share schemes for this company."
  • "What information is recorded about this shareholder?"
  • "Explain our current share structure."
  • "Summarise the company’s recent share activity."

Note: Your AI tool may ask for your permission before retrieving data from Vestd.
